In the minds of progressives, Christians and Jews are "white". This whiteness automatically precludes them/us from being minorities worthy of protection.

Nevermind that the majority of Israelis and oppressed Christians are non-white, it just doesn't fit the narrative.

It's also why they don't respond to the atrocities committed by Pakistan, China, Turkey, Saudi, etc. the same way. They see them as both POC, it fries their morality circuits, and they say nothing.
