To be clear, both of those groups are SMALLER than the number of people who will experience a diagnosis of mental illness in their life. Can you believe it? More people with mental issues than obesity (and mental illness is woefully undercounted).
The number of dieticians and nutritionists is the SAME as the number of psychologists in America.
So, yeah...I agree with the toxic-illness cycle. But any way you slice it - literally ANY WAY - we don't value mental health as much as physical health.
